JuiceWare Xd Socket1

First step is to remove the adapter from the package. Then cut away whatever housing that may cover the socket.

Note: Depending on which brand of adapter you have this step may be slightly different. The point is to expose the socket.

This type of socket has rear facing pins. Use of this socket requires a different technique from the original Juiceware socket adapter.

Mark just behind the socket for the cut.

Score both sides at the mark. Make sure the two cuts line up.

Being careful not to put too much force on the socket housing, snap the PCB at the cut.

The rough edges can be cleaned up with sandpaper or a file. To avoid a short be sure to remove any copper "threads" left behind.
