I'm a Computer Science student currently doing my 6th semester in Bharath University, India. I have a flair for machines, I can quickly understand how they work and I would thoroughly enjoy taking it apart and putting it back in working order. I am also good in programming. I recently took a course conducted by IIT Madras on "BOSS-MOOL OS and Database Design" and got an Elite rank in the test (this was part of the NPTEL programme). I am now in an internship program guided by the same professor from the prior course and the 1st task at hand is modifying and updating the kernel for the native Indian GNU/Linux OS called BOSS MOOL. In a little bit more detail, we are working on enabling MOOL (minimal object oriented language) feature to the latest kernel version (v4.10.x), this mool feature enables device driver programs to be written in C++ After the completion of this task, I will be working on "private cloud" details of which I do not know as of yet.

I have many ideas to contribute to the open source community, and I am very eager to use GSOC 2017 to boost myself and share these ideas.
