Mike Anderson is Chief Scientist from The PTR Group, Inc. I've been working with microprocessors since my first job as a programmer in 1977 on an Altair 8800 using the Intel 8080 microprocessor. Since then, I've worked with MIPS, PPC, x86, ARM, SH and several other architectures. Over the past 12 years, my focus has largely been on Linux and its usage in embedded applications. I'm a frequent speaker at ELC, Design West/East and the Real-Time Computing Conferences around the country. My areas of interest include JTAGs, the real-time patch, migrating uni-processor code to multi-core and robotics.
