Motivation

We have known Open Source Software for a long long time. Does anyone know open-hardware these days? There are several different concept about this, such as Xinlinx FPGA project for open source verilog IP cores for FPGA users, OpenRISC , another famous CPU in design like ARM. Most common, there are a few organizations or company open their PCB design with schematic or PCB layout files, even mechanism design, and announce it to be open-hardware . But for me , they are all NOT the real open hard
