William Gerth

Senior Computer Engineering Major, Class of 2011

I've had a minor amount of embedded and linux experience, the former from a combination of my learning at Rose-Hulman (namely ECE331), and the latter from Rose-Hulman's Operating Systems course and my own personal explorations, though I haven't moved out of the Ubuntu variants. My interest in the beagle and in this class sparked when I learned that a personal media player I own, the Archos 5 Internet Tablet with Android, runs very similar hardware to the Beagle Board. I've a variety of interests, but my biggest interest in this course involves making some sort of open-source variant to the Archos, just for curiosity's sake.
