Adding a second MMC / SD slot is a piece of cake.
Remember the MMC bus is just that, a simple bus.
Just hook up your second port in parallel and its good to go. The standard kernel as supplied with the EVM can detect the second card just fine.
There is one caveat, there is no way to identify which is slot mmcblk0 and which is mmcblk1 without some additional mods!
