by Masashige Mizuyama (Panasonic Mobile Communications)

Outline of this session

At the beginning of this year, Panasonic brought a Linux based mobile phone to Japanese market. We have been making extensive efforts to make Linux and software above conform the requirement of our main stream mobile phone product. The efforts covers various aspects including memory footprint size, power consumption, user response, stability and more. This session presents some of those efforts we made and addresses further challenges expected on Linux for mobile devices.
