I'm a mid-career switcher to engineering (coming from international diplomacy).  I have a MS in Mechanical Engineering and have worked at 2 cleantech startups and a swarm robotics company.  I am now in school again taking college classes in discrete math, C++, and microcontrollers. I have a wide variety of interests including art, learning languages, machine learning, and making robots.  As the first woman in my family to pursue a technical career, I'm also passionate about getting girls excited about STEM fields. I teach a monthly online robotics class to middle school girls through the YWCA and I'm always looking for additional ways to promote girls' STEM opportunities.
